REASONS YOU CAN ALL JUST KISS OFF INTO THE AIR:

  1. ‘Cause you left me.
  2. For my family.
  3. For my heartache.
  4. For my headache.
  5. For my lonely.
  6. For my sorrow.
  7. No tomorrow.
  8. I forget what 8 was for.
  9. For a lost god.
  10. For everything, everything, everything, everything.

Haha! My sis & I have been singing this for the past two days. PERFECT.

Research has shown that a simple act of kindness directed toward another improves the functioning of the immune system and stimulates the production of seratonin in both the recipient of the kindness and the person extending the kindness. Even more amazing is that persons observing the act of kindness have similar beneficial results.

“Peace Frog” - The Doors

Dance, baby, dance! I know I want to.

Pretty Fan-bloody-tastic

Hello, world.

How are you?

I have been adventuring a many grand adventures near and far…

A dim sum bike ride, art fests, food adventures, many trips to LA & Hollywood and some damned good company has been the sum of my experiences. And, of course, there has been my good old 50+ hour work week. UGH. (I need a new job, BADLY). Either way, I am happy to have made a really awesome batch of new friends. I’m happy to know people who think in as an excited manner as I do. With one friend, we have so many tangents we can go off of that we have to resort to writing the thoughts that pop up into our head on a piece of paper because there are so damned many. It’s pretty hilarious and pretty freaking awesome.

Anyway, nice to see ya, Tumblr. I still might not see ya very often, but, you know. Whatever. Adventure first, sitting on arse second.

The greatest difficulty in the world is not people to accept new ideas, but to make them forget about old ideas.

“Hard Time Killing Floor Blues” - Chris Thomas King

One of the most beautiful, relaxing tracks from the eight time platinum soundtrack of O Brother, Where Art Thou? (Wiki / IMDB). I used to be obsessed with this song and the thought of Tommy (CTK’s character) strumming away by the fire.

This would be the other film with an amazing soundtrack that you must check out with all original, non-orchestral music. Don’t forget to check out Into the Wild, if you haven’t.

Go out & SKATE!

Go out & SKATE!

October is National Roller Skating Month.

The 4-wheeled roller skate as we know it today was invented by a gent named James L. Plimpton in the year 1858. Seeing that previous in-line “dry-skate” models that took after the ice skate were difficult to maneuver, Plimpton created a skate with two axles and attached them to a cushioned base to allow for maneuverability.
Thanks to that dude, we have the skates we know and love today (not pictured here).

It’s no surprise that Whip It’s release date is October 2nd. Whip it good.
